Our Stories

Seattle: The Beginning

Our story began in Seattle, a city known for its coffee and rainy days. We met through a mutual friend at Phuoc's birthday party. What started as casual conversation quickly turned into a connection we couldn't ignore. Seattle became the backdrop for our early dates - walks in Pike Place Market, coffee shop talks, and adventures in the nearby mountains. It was here that we laid the foundation of our relationship, discovering shared interests and dreams.

New York: Growing Together

Seeking new adventures and opportunities, we decided to move to New York City together. The Big Apple challenged us in ways we never expected, but it also strengthened our bond. We embraced the city's energy, supported each other through career changes, and explored every corner of this vibrant metropolis. From picnics in Central Park to late-night pizza runs, New York taught us that home is wherever we're together.

Ho Chi Minh: A Destination Wedding

After six years of building our life together in New York, we felt drawn to celebrate our love in the land of our ancestors. We chose Ho Chi Minh City as the perfect destination for our wedding, a place to honor our heritage as we begin our next chapter. This decision feels like bridging two worlds - connecting the life we've built in the US with the country our families once called home. We're thrilled to share this special moment with friends and family in a place that holds so much meaning for us.

We've Got Answers

  • When is the RSVP deadline?

Please RSVP by December 1st, 2024, so we can have an accurate headcount!

  • If I travel from abroad, how long should I stay?

We suggest arriving in Ho Chi Minh City on December 23rd and departing on December 30th, 2024. Please let us know when you have your flight details!

  • Do I need a visa to enter Vietnam?

If you are flying from the U.S., you need a visa to enter Vietnam. If you are flying from another country, you may need a visa depending on your nationality. Please check with your local Vietnamese embassy for the latest requirements. We recommend applying for a visa at least 2 weeks in advance to avoid any issues upon arrival.

  • Will there be any other events besides the wedding?

We would love for our guests to have the best time attending our wedding. Therefore, we are working hard to prepare a series of events for you to enjoy. Stay tuned for more information 😁!

  • What will the weather be like in Ho Chi Minh City in December?

The weather in December is typically mild, but it can be unpredictable. We recommend checking the forecast a few days before the wedding.

  • Will the ceremony be outside?

Yes, both the ceremony and reception will be hosted in the outdoor garden.

  • Are children allowed at the ceremony?

There will be limited services available for children at the venue during the ceremony. Please reach out to us if you plan to bring your children so we can make arrangements.

  • Are the ceremony and reception locations wheelchair accessible?

Please let us know in advance if you need any special accommodations. We will do our best to accommodate your needs.

  • What should I wear?

We kindly request that you follow our semi-formal dress code, which aligns with our elegant garden party theme. Please keep in mind that this is an outdoor garden wedding, so choose attire that is both stylish and suitable for the setting. We look forward to seeing you dressed in your semi-formal best!

  • Where should I park?

Yes, there will be free parking available in the venue's garage.

  • Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?
